AI Essentials is a half-day workshop that provides you with a toolkit you can immediately implement the next working day. Updated weekly to keep pace with new developments, a typical agenda includes:

  1. AI in Context: Why is AI having a moment now? What’s an LLM and how do they work? Can I trust the output, and what are the ethical/privacy/legal implications?

  2. How to make the most of ChatGPT’s features: go beyond just asking questions and learn how to personalise it’s answers and create images.

  3. Prompting Techniques: get practical experience using the top techniques for getting the most out of large language models in the context of your day-to-day work.

  4. Discussions of the legal, ethical and financial implications: know when it is and isn’t appropriate to use tools like ChatGPT and how to mitigate the relevant risks.

  5. Bring it all together: Implement what you’ve learned by launching a new product.

Roughly ⅔ of the workshop is hands-on, providing you with opportunities to experiment with using AI tools in the context of your day-to-day work.

Your workshop will be led by a General Purpose instructor with deep AI expertise supported by up to 2 General Purpose tutors to ensure you get one-on-one advice to meet your goals. Maximum class size is 25 people.

This class is delivered in collaboration with The Silver Academy and based on General Purpose's leading AI Essentials class.
